Xiaotong Wu is a PhD student in Financial Economics at University College London.
She has an interdisciplinary background in economics, mathematics, and computer science, with solid training in econometrics theory and quantitative modeling, as well as proficiency with computational methods and statistical tools for data analysis. Her research involves economic theory and its application using mathematical and statistical methods. Her research interests include microeconomic theory, financial econometrics, and statistics and data science. Currently, her work focuses on the intersection of microeconomics, econometrics, and artificial intelligence, particularly on developing and applying advanced algorithms/machine learning methods for economic and financial topics.
